Hello and welcome to RusCuisine, a website designed to help anyone to learn more about Russian cuisine, Russian history, traditions and, of course, Russian people and to communicate with friends across the globe interested in the topics related to Russia. This site allows you to receive my newsletters with some stories and recipes and, hopefully, to make new friends. It is also designed to bring some interesting news about Russian lifestyle in my personal interpretation.

The idea for RusCuisine was born in Yura's head and I accepted it with a great enthusiasm. Yura made all the site himself and I wrote the content. We felt it was important to construct a place where English speaking people from all over the world interested in Russian contemporary life could receive a piece of information right from the heart of Russia, Moscow. |
| We have created this RusCuisine website to share with you some traditional Russian recipes. To tell you the truth, cooking is not my passion. In fact, I cooked a lot when I was staying at home with a baby. Growing up in a Russian town Bryansk, which is situated at the borders of Ukraine and Belarus, I have experienced Slavic cooking from all over Russia. But when you work, it is not easy to find time to create cooking masterpieces… Anyway, I am very pleased to help other people to discover the joys and rewards of creating authentic Russian recipes. Hopefully, with our help, you can learn something about Russian culture behind the most popular Russian dishes and perhaps you'll be able to savor the wonderful preparations that we present. |
