Most Russian beverages are unique and don’t have analogues in other cuisines of the world. It is a question of kvas, sbiten, med, mors, voditsa and many others. From of old they were used for meals, that is to say to take a drink after meat dishes, wild game, kashas and fish. Fine refreshing beverages were also served for dessert.
