Raisin & Sour Cream Sauce recipe

1 1/2 c Seedless raisins
2 tbsp Butter
2 1/2 c Water hot
2/3 c Sugar
1 tbsp Flour
1 tsp Salt
3/4 c Sour cream

Combine raisins, water,sugar & butter and bring to a boil while stirring. Reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes. Add the sour cream and slowly add the flour avoiding making lumos while constantly stirring. Bring to a quick boil and serve over vegetables such as turnips, rutabagas, broccoli, cauliflower, parsnips, or carrots. It is good with pork or poultry dishes as well.
