Khrusty Finger Pastries recipe

2 cups flour
6 egg yolks
2 whole eggs
1 tbsp butter (room temp)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 level tsp salt

Beat eggs well, until light and fluffy. Add butter, sugar, lemon juice and mix well. Next add flour and salt. Mix and let sit for a while. Roll very thin; working with a little dough at a time. Keep remainder dough covered. Cut dough into strips approximately 3" x 1". Make a slit in the centre of the strip; take one end and fold and twist through the slit. Sprinkle with icing sugar, after frying in hot oil just lightly browned on both sides. This is a confection or light appetizer. I found that everyone requests this recipe.
