2 1/2 c flour
1 c milk
2 ea eggs
1/2 c sugar
1 tbsp rum
salt to taste

Make a dough from all the ingredients. Knead the dough very well.
Then roll out very thinly and cut strips - about 8-10 cm long.
And make different shapes for cookies - make knots, plaits. Or
make a little cut in the center longwise the strip and pass one
end through this cut several times. Heat oil in the pan. Plunge
cookies in the oil, put 5-6 pieces at a time. Fry until light
"Chvorost" is served with sugar or jam for tea.
