3 c flour
1/2 c cream
1/2 c milk
2/3 c sugar
1 ea egg
1 tb buttermeasures conversion [+]
Blend cream, milk, salt, sugar and mix in flour gradually. Bring to boil. Pour 1/4 dough on the baking sheet, bake until golden. Pour the rest of dough on top, grease the top with an egg and bake until ready.
Hot Salamata is served with butter and cold one with cream. milk. honey and jam. Russian bakers used Salamata for treatment of physical exhaustion.
