Russian Cookies recipe


Ingredients:
1c. crisco
3/4c. sugar
2 eggs
1c. sour cream
3c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 heaping tsp. baking powder
1tsp. baking soda
measures conversion [+]

Method:
Cream crisco, sugar, and eggs. Add baking soda to sour cream and then add that mixture to the crisco mixture. Sift together dry ingredients and add to the batter. Mix .Turn dough out in lightly floured board and divide in half. Pat each half out until 1 inch in height. Cut out circles. Add brown sugar and cinnamon over top. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 400 deg. for about 10 min. or until lightly brown. DO NOT OVERBAKE...
