Grenki Russian toasts recipe


Ingredients:
1 ea white bread loaf
1/2 cup milk
3 ea eggs
oil to fry
salt
measures conversion [+]

Method:
Grenki is a wonderful item for breakfast. They can be served with jam, cheese or sausages. Slice a loaf. Beat up eggs with milk and salt. Heat oil in the pan and put well soaked in milk bread slices (30 c). Fry on every side until light brown. Sprinkle with cheese if there is.
