This recipe gives the high gloss shine you see on buns in the bakeries or stores. It is not made of chemicals and completely eatible, has no taste, just done to impress. You can also do it to store-bought products. Heat in oven, take out, give wash, and as it cools, it will shine.

Method:
Place all ingredients in a saucepan and slowly bring to a boil. Allow to boil 3-4 minutes. Then remove from heat. While syrup is hot, brush it over the top of the buns as they are removed from the oven to give a high glossy finish to the buns or breads. Allow bread or buns to cool before serving.
