Turp Salati / Asian Radish Salad recipe


Ingredients:
1 md Daikon/white Asian radish
1 lg Carrot,
-peeled and grated.
1/2 ts Sugar,
-or more to taste.
3 tb Oil, olive
2 tb Lemon juice, fresh
Salt,
-to taste.

Method:
Peel the radish & grate. Gently squeeze out most but not all liquid from the radish. Place in a bowl. Add the carrot, 1/2 tspn of sugar, oil, & lemon juice & toss. Season with salt, & cover and refrigerate for at least 30 mins. Mix with the sour cream and serve. This salad is a traditionally seved with pilafs.
